This activity will focus on the practical approaches needed to practice in gynecology. We provide tangible information to help guide PAs in the clinical assessment and management process. The Genitopelvic Pain Course will involve 6 two-hour monthly virtual webinars spanning from August 2022 to February 2023, followed by an in-person instructional session at the 2023 ISSWSH Annual Meeting in St Louis, MO (separate registration) in March 2023. In this innovative virtual course, practitioners will learn how to confidently diagnose and treat the many causes of pelvic pain. Sessions are organized by presenting symptoms, opening with “The Tools” and then progressing to symptoms and conditions of the vulvar vestibule, the clitoris, the bladder and urethra, the vulva, and the pelvis. Engaging experts in the field of Female Sexual Medicine will break down specialized topics, including Provoked Vestibulodynia (PVD), Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM), vulvar dermatoses, Bladder Pain Syndrome (BPS), pudendal neuralgia, and Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD).
