APAOG was founded in 1991 and is the only professional association devoted exclusively to PAs practicing in women's health. We are a recognized specialty organization of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

We hope to be a resource to you on PA practice issues such as reimbursement, privileges, CME, post graduate education, legislative and regulatory changes, etc.

• Joined the Partnership to End Cervical Cancer
• Established message board for APAOG members on our website to discuss clinical and professional issues

• Maintained monthly women's health news headlines
• Exhibited at American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' (ACOG) Annual Clinical Meeting; currently have two PAs serving on ACOG committees
